Quintessence Special Events

The Quintessence Neighborhood Association may be fairly new but we already have enjoyed a number of special events. Below are pages of photos from each occasion.

little dragonFall Festival, Oct 2005: an event primarily for the kids, but the costume contest had prizes for adults also. We had games with prizes, apple bobbing and pumpkin carving contest.

best dressed trike 2005Patriotic Bike Parade, June 2005: last year's bike parade was so successful, we did it again, only better. On hand was a face painter, balloon artist, air-filled jumper, plus representatives of the Albuquerque Police and Fire departments.

best dressed trike 2004 Patriotic Bike Parade, June 2004: QNA had a QNA Park Patriotic Parade. Children were invited to decorate their bikes, trikes, scooters and strollers to parade around the perimeter of the park. The best decorated transportation in three age categories were awarded prizes.

Neighborhood Cleanup Day, 2004 & 2005: The City of Albuquerque has an annual neighborhood cleanup day. Quintessence homeowners joined in to clean up the main entrance, walking paths and our beautiful park.
